We are deeply saddened by the passing of Doris Fitschen, former German national team player, and later team manager.
We had the privilege of working with Doris in her role with the Frauen-Bundesliga and we are grateful for her support in the creation of the Women’s Leagues Forum. She was a pioneer and a leader, and shared her knowledge generously.
Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and colleagues. Rest in peace, Doris.
